IABPI Wins SPRING TECS Grant PDF Print E-mail

16 technology start-ups are now one step closer to bringing their ideas to market. They emerged from more than 200 submissions to win a competitive grant under the Technology Enterprise Commercialisation Scheme (TECS), garnering $6 million grant support for their projects.

The pioneer batch of winners was evaluated on the commercial potential, scientific and technical strengths, cost-effectiveness and impact of their projects. They received the award from SPRING's Chairman Mr Philip Yeo at the Biopolis on 29th Oct 2008.

IABPI is one of the inaugural recipients of SPRING Singapore Technology Enterprise Commercialization Scheme (TECS), Proof Of Value competitive grant award winner.

Grant was awarded to IABPI based on technological competency in the development of advanced Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) materials applications based on innovative PSA technologies in areas such as:

  • Medical Wound Dressing & Transdermal Drug Delivery Patch
  • Micro-electronic & Critical environment PSA based materials applications
